New mayor in ravenna! Now that the election is over with Mayor Poland moving up to municpal court to be a judge, the City of Ravenna will select a new mayor.
With the new council coming in on Jan 1, only one member has indicated he would take the job according to a Record Courier article. That member is Bica and he has no party affliation according to Board of Election records. All other members have Democrat affliation.
It should be noted that the recent election was Ravenna’s first non-partision election since the City charter was changed.
The question is whether the (6) democrats on Ravenna city council will select a non-Dem as the city’s new mayor.
Thank GOD for the RPD and all the teachers at West Main for the quick response!! This really could have been a horrible situation like Chardon!! I cant help but think this person did this on purpose considering the timing of the school schedule-he should really be made an example of so others dont pull the same STUPID stunt!!
